He is a Board member of Delta Airlines, Chairman of the Board of Vibra Energia SA, the largest energy company in South America, and Vice Chairman of the Board of BRF S.A., a global food company. Prior to that, he was the CEO of Banco Santander (Brasil), a subsidiary of Banco Santander (2016 to 2022), and Chairman of the Board (2022 to early 2023).
Mr. Rial brings over 30 years of experience in leadership positions in some of the world’s biggest banks and companies. He has started his career at ABN Amro Bank and then became senior managing director and co-head of the Investment Banking Division at Bear Stearns & Co. in New York.
